About the Name:
Hogadon ski area is where I learned to downhill ski, snowboard, telemark and Nordic ski. I don’t remember how old I was when I first learned, I’ve just always known how. I tell people that I was born with skis because it honestly feels that way. I was a great yet mostly cautious skier. Don’t get me wrong, I would race my brothers, go out of bounds and hit up all the jumps we could find. My little brother, however was a kamikaze. The ski patrol were always on the look out for him, flagging him and threatening to kick him off the mountain, he was far from a cautions skier.
